Hi my dear crocheters!
What kind of person are you? Do you love winter with its snowy cold days? Or are you – like me – a spring-person? As soon as christmas is over I want all the flowers to bloom, I want the trees to be green, the bees to be humming and the butterflies to sit on the flowers… But here in Switzerland we really have to wait til march to feel the soft beginning of spring.
If it comes to spring, I am a very impatient person. So I’ve got to do something, right?
That’s why I came up with the snowdrop family consisting of a mother, a young snowdrop and a baby. The mother wears an apron and can carry the baby in her babycarrier, the young snowdrop with its soft green hat reminding of sprouts shows off its embroidered snowdrop and the three of them form a really lovely family.

I created the snowdrop family for my waldorf inspired seasonal table. But do you know what? My sons “steal” them regularly to play with them – and of course that makes me very happy!

The gnomes from the snowdrop family are a great toy for children between two and nine years. They bring fantasy and nature into every playroom!
You can use the gnomes as spring-themed decoration: on the seasonal table, placed in a wreath or together with real snowdrop plants.

If fell in love with the snowdrop family just like I did, don’t hesitate and get the pattern here in my shop!

The gnomes are very versatile and I can’t wait to see your version of the snowdrop family!
