Hi my dear crocheters!

Who knows a baby that sleeps “like a baby”? I don’t. Every baby I have ever known has difficulties falling asleep or staying asleep. Sleep is a very important topic when it comes to parents and families and a lot of parents try many different tricks to help their children with sleeping.

One very old and well-known trick is soft and lovely music. Either mother or father is singing a lullaby or the baby is cuddling a stuffie with a music box inside. Music soothes the worries a little baby can have. In my opinion, a baby always needs the closeness of its parents – but the music box can still give the parents a break from singing or humming, while holding their baby.

So I designed a cuddly, soft and sweet music box stuffie that makes you want to travel to the land of dreams when just looking at it.

It’s a sweet little goose sleeping on a fluffy moon with a small star. The moon is very easy to crochet and I put a lot of work in the aspect of security. I can never give a guarantee – with handmade toys this is simply not possible. But sometimes I really don’t understand crochet patterns for baby toys that are full of very small pieces just sewed on – for me, that is not safe enough. So this goose on the moon should really be as safe for the baby as a handmade toy can be!

The goose on the moon is perfect for boys and girls and every baby you know. It tells you stories of sweet dreams, sheltered childhoods and wonderful adventures.
