I am quite an analog person: I like to write on paper and I still buy notebooks to write into. On a beautiful summer day I decided that I need a pencil case to put on my just bought notebook.

I embroidered some of my favorite flowers on grey linen. I did not have an embroidery pattern and therefore am quite happy with the outcome.

Then I sewed the pencil case with an elastic strap to put it on the notebook. It is really easy and well doable without a sewing pattern.

It is so much fun now to carry the notebook with the sweet pencil case with me and write down important and interesting findings, thoughts and facts!
