Hi my dear crocheters!
Meet bob the sheep! He is super cute with his short legs and big hips. Crocheted with cotton yarn and bouclé yarn, he is soft and fluffy, just as a sheep should be.

In my first design (which I altered a bit afterwards) of Bob, I used Lenja soft, Baby smiles from Schachenmayr. I was very pleased with the result and I like the yarn a lot – it is soft and cuddly and it is safe for Babies. When I wanted to crochet more Bobs, Lenja soft was not available in sheep-like colours. Therefore, I tested two other bouclé yarns and of course, the outcome was different. I like all oft he Bobs a lot, to be honest! But I am glad that I can show you three different kinds of bouclé yarn and how they look on Bob, so you definitely have the opportunity to choose the right yarn to work with.
By the way, I don’t get a cent by showing you these different yarn options. It’s just what I used, I don’t have any collaboration with a company.

As you can see, I also made a blue-green Bob, wich I also like a lot!
If you are rather new to crocheting with bouclé yarn, I would recommend to just add the bouclé yarn to the cotton yarn, so can see the stitches better. Especially if the cotton and the bouclé yarn are in different colours – that makes a nice pattern and you really see your stitches and can count properly.

Bob comes with two sorts of scarfs and with a round cross-body bag. So he is ready for any kind of adventure and the child in your life can immediately start to play with Bob.

If you are as in love with Bob the sheep as I am, go ahead and get the pattern here on my shop! Thank you for supporting passionate crafters like me!

Have a great time crocheting!
